Thank You, Firelands: Hartland & Wilken Wins Best HVAC and Best Plumbing
We are grateful. Thank you for every nomination and every vote!
Hartland & Wilken has been named the winner of Best HVAC and Best Plumbing in the 2026 Firelands Best of the Best Readers’ Choice Awards, presented by the Sandusky Register and Norwalk Reflector. Our team was also honored as a finalist in three more categories: Best Electrician, Best General Contractor, and Best Lighting.
Chosen by the people we serve
The Readers’ Choice Awards are decided entirely by the community. This year’s process included one round of nominations followed by two rounds of voting, which means our neighbors showed up for us three separate times. That kind of support means a lot to a family-owned company that has been part of this community for more than 100 years.
Every vote represents a real experience: a furnace brought back to life on a cold night, a water heater replaced before a holiday gathering, a new electrical panel installed safely and on schedule. Those moments are why we do this work, and it is an honor to know they stayed with you.
The crew behind the win
This recognition belongs to our team. Our technicians, plumbers, electricians, and office staff are the people who answer your calls, show up at your door, and treat your home like it matters. When you see our silver trucks around town, you are seeing the people who earned these awards.
Heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical under one roof
Winning in HVAC and Plumbing, and being recognized in Electrical, Contracting, and Lighting, reflects the full range of services we offer to homes and businesses across the Firelands region. Whether you need a new heating and cooling system, plumbing repair, or electrical work, one trusted local team can take care of it.
Thank you again
Connecting with our customers and community during the Readers’ Choice Awards is always one of the highlights of our year. We could not do it without each of you supporting our crew. We look forward to continuing to serve our neighbors for years to come. You’ve seen our silver trucks, now give us a call!
